ANTONIA LOFRANCO
President
[email protected] Microbiology and Cell Science Major | Chemistry Minor Senior Hi! I’m Antonia! I’m a CALS Microbiology and Cell Science major in the CALS Honors Thesis Program! I joined Society for Viral Studies in Spring of my freshman year and immediately loved how welcoming the organization was and the sense of community I got from being able to meet like-minded individuals in my field of study! Being in SVS helped me fine tune my resume and CV, along with connecting me to research and volunteering opportunities on campus. Our guest speakers and career panels offer a low-stress environment to make connections with UF faculty and beyond. SVS has space for anyone who loves science and wishes to advance their knowledge past what can be done in the classroom! Please reach out to me via email or Slack for any questions you have or advice you may need! |

[email protected] Biology Major Pre-Medical Track Senior Hello! I'm Michele, I'm currently a junior biology major on the pre-med track. I joined SVS my freshman year and I've loved seeing its growth throughout the years, but despite that it's always been a tight-knit community. I joined the Covid-19 Outreach and healthcare panel committees last year and I'm excited to get involved more this year as well! As your secretary, I'm mostly responsible for sending you email announcements through our Listserv and answering any questions you might send us through email or our website, as well as attendance for our GBMs. Hoping everyone has a smooth school year, and never hesitate to reach out to me or any other of our wonderful officers! |
